The Adamsville Community is 8 miles west of downtown Atlanta off Interstate 20 near Interstate 285-Martin L. King, Jr. Drive , Exit 51 A off  I-20 & SR 139.

Population of 17,273 ~  1856-59  Judge Wilson built the 1st home in the community.

Collier Heights Park and Recreation Center

The Friends of Collier Park were chosen to participate in Park Pride Visioning Program in 2006. Collier Park was the fifth park to have a conceptual master plan courtesy of Park Pride. 

A Fundraising Campaign was launched by the group to accomplish the vision plan, to have a new concession stand, press box, restrooms & bleachers installed 2008.

Collier Park is located in the Adamsville Community in the southwest quadrant of Atlanta.  The park is a 15 acre park with tennis  courts, covered basketball courts, playground,  new preschool playground and  Life Trail Outdoor Fitness Stations   1st Life Trail System in a Metro Atlanta park.
